These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of Strategic Finance CFO Reporting (the "Application"), a private financial-reporting integration provided by Strategic Finance LLC ("we," "us," or "our") to clients of our fractional CFO practice ("you" or "Client"). By authorizing the Application to connect to your QuickBooks Online ("QBO") company, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Application solely to enable us to prepare financial reporting deliverables for your business. The Application is private and unlisted; it is not licensed for use by the general public.
The Application connects to QBO through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization and accesses your accounting data on a read-only basis. It does not create, modify, or delete any records in your QuickBooks company. You authorize us to read the financial data described in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of producing your reports.
The Application, and all software and materials we provide, remain our property. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Deliverables we prepare for you are provided under our separate client engagement agreement.
The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Reports generated using data read from QBO are informational and depend on the accuracy of your source data. Nothing in the Application constitutes tax, legal, audit, or investment advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategic Finance LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Application.
Either party may terminate the connection at any time. Upon termination, or upon your revocation of access, we will revoke the OAuth connection and delete stored access credentials as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
